Axis Security Inc., a professional event security firm with 20 years of trusted service, is currently seeking qualified applicants for the role of Unarmed Security Guard. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are committed to safety, professionalism, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide a visible security presence to deter and de-escalate potential issues.
Respond calmly and effectively to emergencies or incidents as they arise.
Render aid and administer first aid when necessary (training provided).
Deliver exceptional customer service to patrons, staff, and vendors.
Perform crowd management duties including access control and movement coordination.
Operate various security-related equipment including metal detectors, wands, and bag-check stations for detection of weapons or contraband.
Remain alert and monitor assigned post(s) for multiple hours, with or without direct supervision.
Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors, both verbally and via radio.
Work effectively as part of a cohesive team in high-volume, dynamic and challenging live event environments.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Clean criminal background check (per licensing regulations).
Must be eligible for or possess a valid Unarmed Security Guard License in the State of Tennessee (training provided if necessary).
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
Reliable transportation and professional appearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience.
First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
