Description Summary: KaTom Restaurant Supply, Inc. is seeking an energetic person to work in our Responsive Live Chat Department. This position is for an individual looking for a challenging role within a fast paced, growing organization. The core hours vary from 8:00am to 8:00 pm Monday through Friday with Saturday rotation. You will be responsible for providing legendary customer service by live chatting with customers who are chatting for inside sales, customer care, or order processing and responding to them in a friendly, timely, and accurate manner.  You must have a strong desire to constantly improve and never settle for anything less than legendary!

Responsibilities include:

  • ·         Communicate with 50+ customers via chat per day

    ·         Provide a friendly, efficient and professional customer service experience using verbal and written communication

    ·         Own customer issues and see them through from initial chat until resolution

    ·         Adjust complaints concerning various topics

    ·         Follow up with customers in a timely manner

    ·         Proactive about catching mistakes made by others

    ·         Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

    ·         Meet and/or exceed individual and team goals

    ·         Adhere to all policies and procedures

    ·         Fluent in English & Spanish, preferred

    ·         Requires regular and predictable attendance

    ·         All other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (knowledge, skills & abilities): To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. 

·      ·         Education and/or Experience: HS Diploma or GED with previous experience in retail, call center or restaurant or equivalent combination of education and experience.

·         Experience in live chat preferred

·         Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office and internet navigation (CRM software, preferred).

·         Keyboarding skills, 40+ WPM.

·         Excellent communication skills – oral and written.

·         High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.

·         Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure/high levels of stress.
