Position Overview:
This position supports the bartender(s) by ensuring the bar runs smoothly and efficiently. Your primary responsibilities include stocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with the preparation of drinks. You will work closely with the bar team to provide excellent service to customers, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment are essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stock the bar with liquor, beer, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and other supplies as needed.
• Clean and maintain the bar area, including wiping down counters, washing glassware, and taking out trash.
• Assist bartenders with drink preparation and order fulfillment during busy periods.
• Ensure the bar is properly organized and stocked for smooth operations.
• Retrieve and restock ice, napkins, straws, and other bar essentials.
• Monitor inventory levels and inform the bartender or management when supplies are running low.
• Assist in the delivery of drinks and food to customers when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, following health and safety guidelines.
• Handle emergency situations, like cleaning up broken glass and clearing up clogged drains.
• Help with the setup and breakdown of the bar area before and after shifts.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a bar or restaurant is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Strong multitasking abilities
• Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move heavy objects for long periods.
• Ability to follow instructions and take initiative when needed.
• Positive attitude with a strong commitment to customer service.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Must hold a valid TABC certification.
• Certification in SERV Safe is a plus.
• Additional duties & responsibilities may be assigned when necessary.
