Summary
This position is for a Party Host/Hostess position at Cool Sports and is under the direct supervision of the Events Manager. The purpose of this position is to provide a fun and energetic party environment for all users. Employees in this classification represent Cool Sports in a professional manner while performing the duties described below.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Maintains a clean and safe environment for patrons and staff.
2. Greets Parties as they enter
3. Sets up birthday party rooms.
4. Cleans up birthday party rooms.
5. Executes policies and procedures professionally and accurately.
6. Communicates accurate and professional information to patrons.
7. Engages party at front desk, takes them through the facility to the party room area, and gets them pizza, drinks, and is responsible for all other aspects of the party.
8. Responsible for attending staff meetings and trainings.
9. Ensures highest quality of birthday party experience for guest of honor and parent(s).
10. Acts as team member and assists in other capacity as needed.
11. Responsible for completing all other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Ability to apply routine practices, rules/regulations, procedures to techniques that are relevant to assigned tasks.
2. Previous Customer Service experience preferred.
3. Ability to balance customer service and safety while creating a fun but orderly atmosphere.
4. Be a minimum age of 15 years old.
5. Have or be able to obtain CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
6. Ability to present a neat, clean appearance and good hygiene.
7. Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
Salary $7.25/hr
