Responsibilities and Duties

  • Answer incoming calls and emails to provide quotes for charter bus transportation.
  • Follow up with customer quotes to negotiate rates and close sales in a timely manner
  • Confer and approve with management any negotiations with customers
  • Confer with management on customer concerns and issues to come to the best resolution for Sunway Charters and the customer
  • Manage your established and new accounts/customers and their experiences from the beginning to the end of their trip
  • Keep updated customer information
  • Receiving all the proper PRE trip info needed for drivers and making for an overall ideal customer experience.
  • Make sure payments are received for your accounts before departure
  • Follow up with customers
  • Maintain positive customer relations and respond to customer issues with courtesy and a solution-oriented attitude.
  • Familiar with HOS to ensure travel is in compliance
  • Work close with dispatch to ensure smooth operations between driver and customer
  • Attend networking opportunities in your area with the approval of management
  • Excellent communication skills- the ability to interact with a wide range of customers (IE: churches, schools, college students, etc.)
  • Possess excellent organizational skills.
  • Possess positive attitude and customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task and critical thinking abilities
  • Operate consistently at a high level of professionalism
  • Maintain Confidentiality of any and all Company issues, communications, conflicts, and ongoing activities deemed as such
  • Work cooperatively with all staff
  • Support and uphold all sales pricing policies and contracts

Qualifications

  • 2 years of sales experience desired - PREFER TRANSPORTATION EXPERIENCE
  • Knowledge of the transportation business desired
