Unarmed Security Guard - Event Staff - Sacramento Area

Note that you are applying for a part-time position. This is not a full-time position.

Qualifications:

• Able and willing to work multiple venues.
• 18 years or older with valid proof of employment eligibility.
• Have a current California Guard Card, no exceptions.
• Able to clearly communicate in English.
• Have reliable transportation (public transportation acceptable)
• Available at least 4 times a month.
• Available more than 3 days a week, including weekends.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time.

• Crowd Management
• Guest Services
• Security

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Adhere to operating procedures and policies
• Be able to perform a variety of roles and functions
• Adhere to directives of supervisors and venue management
• Use effective interpersonal skills to deal with guests
• Report safety issues and concerns immediately to peers and venue management supervisors, as well as emergency personnel if needed
• Enthusiastically greet and direct guests
• Assist guests based upon their needs
• Be able to communicate clearly with a handheld radio to other staff. Be able to stand or walk for long periods of time.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00/hr
